Helen Keller.......1880-1968

My dear Friends,
Has anyone heard this name ?It looks like a name of yesteryears Hollywood actress you don't know?A name of a celebrity or a name of an activist who has done great things for human mankind?
Trying to scartch your head and try to recall this name?............She was even bigger then any Hollywood actress or any celebrity from any field of life.....
I know this is a very tuff question to answer.Just for 5 mins, and I mean 5 mins imagine you are blind......just think on it and try to close your eyes for 5 mins when you are completly awake and try to do something you wants to do......well, being blind or acting like a blind for even 5 mins will suffocate you.It is hard to imagine what if we are blind.
Ok now the next thing.Imagine you are deaf as well......means you can't listen when someone speaks.Ok, do this way.Just try to become deaf and stay for 5 mins.Again the same result. You can't remain deaf for 5 mins and more.
Now this is a story , a true story of a Lady named Ms.Helen Keller. She got blind and deaf at the age of just 19 months due to some fever and she lost the hearing and seeing senses. She became blind and deaf.
Now if someone is blind and still not deaf then one is able to atleast listen what someone is speaking and can learn speaking but when someone is deaf and can't listen what someone is speaking it is impossible to learn to speak and Helen Keller did that with the help of her mentor Sullivan.
It is an amazing story of Helen Keller who graduated in Arts in 1904 and just imagine that was a hundred year back when there was no such instrument when one can learn such things.
The film "Black" , which Sanjay Leela Bhansali made with Rani Mukerjee and Amitabh Bachhan was based upon it but for the real story one need to read about Helen Keller Autobiography.
I still keep on getting amazed how a little girl of 6 yrs when introduced to her teacher Mrs Sullivan have reacted and I must give hats off to the teacher for her patience.

I think here is where the woman patience comes in work. The Almighty has put so much patience in woman that if they decide to do something they can achieve anything. The thing is they need to decide and that's it.Once they decide what they wants they can achieve everything they wants to.The basic thing is the power , the strength they possesses needs to be channalised.Sometimes they themsleves find the way ,sometimes some friends inspire them, sometimes something happens in their life and decides to prove herself but it should come out.

Helen Keller was honoured by all over the world for her great achievements and she visited many countries. She travelled India in 1955.
In 1962 , there was a film made under the name "The Miracle Worker" on Helen Keller and that was a classic film undersigned by critics.I am hoping of seeing that movie while ordering from Amazon. It is said that people saw it for 10 times 12 times and still they keep on seeing it.
Well,it is very easy to say ,that what Helen Keller did was out of world but when such things comes on us how we will react no one knows. The best and marvelous part about Helen Kellers life is, she not only learn to speak but learn to speak different languages.
Go and google ...write "Helen Keller" and read whatever you can.

The difference between FV

Friends,
We have different Face Value (FV)stocks. They are 100 paidup, 10 paidup, 5 paidup, 2 paidup and 1 paidup.
100 FV are now very less barring couple of them.Usually we have FV of 10 most of the time and then 5 FV , 2 FV and 1 FV.
The reason Co split it to 5 ,2 or 1 paidup is for the liquidity. That is the main reason to do that. When the stock goes so high investors can't buy it so big quantity.eg Titan Ind.It went upto 3700 something and if someone wants to buy 100 shares then he has to dole out Rs.3,70,000.That is a huge amt for small Investor and hence the management decided to split it to 1 paidup so for buying 100 shares one will need only Rs 37,000.
But then the eps will also come down as it will be divided by 10.Once the floating stock become bigger , it takes more time to move up and that is for the simple reason that people trades more and invest less.People trade for 1 or 2 rupees in any counter up or down and hence the prices keeps fluctuating in a rangebound manner as now they can  buy 200-300 shares on any day and sell it for 1-2 rs profit.
Well, that is why I use to write here that try to pick stocks which are still 10 paidup or 10 FV.This way we get chance to get splitting of shares which will multiply our holding according to the splitting of shares and hence we have chance to sell part of them and still left with good quantity.
But when we start buying already splitted stock, we need to remember that  for earning profit and showing as EPS it will have to earn 10 times more then 10 paidup and for that the Co needs to be so excellent that it can keep matching the bottomline even at 1 FV or 2 FV.It is always comfortable to buy stocks with 10 paidup rather then 1 paidup or 2 paid up as the eps remains high and if the stock is still not spotted by players we have chance of a multibagger return.
Stocks that are splitted has already become multibaggers barring few penny stocks. So expecting multibagger return from splitted stock is a high expectation.
Let me explain it this way.
If a Co stock is 1 FV and have eps of 4 that means the eps is 40 for 10 paidup and hence the price of 1 paid up is also like wise the price is also less  but sometimes we get decieved by it in the way that we look at the price and forget to look at Mcap, Sales, EPS etc and as it is quoting low we buy it just like  J M Finance and that is my concern and as I wrote above Titan Ind is already a multibagger and still will give multibagger return because it has a strong product line while is acknowlodged internationally but that do not happens with all splitted stocks.
So why get deceived buying 1 FV , instead why not try to buy 10 paidup shares?

It is complex to understand but usually what happens is this splitted up stocks quotes high and if with little slowdown in profit the stocks tank and then it takes lots of time to move back to original levels as the market players has already sold it out and will not tocuh it again.

Just a simple example I can give is again JM Finance and Vijaya Bank.Vijaya Bank is 10 paid up and has an eps of almost 10 and is trading at 5 P/E.The sales is Rs 5844 cr and Mcap is Rs 2450 cr which is quoting at half of Sales/Mcap ratio. That is a good deal.I like Vijaya Bank and it is a buy according to me on every dips. The reason I like is they have collobarted with LIC for insurnace product which I read 1 year or so back. That is a good deal for Vijaya Bank as selling product of Insurance under LIC will do whole lot of good for the bank.If I am wrong, please let me know about it.
So always try to look at the Sales and Mcap ratio and try to look whether it is in favour of Mcap.If Mcap is less then sales then it is a good deal as one can say that the Co is going cheap.
Those who  are tracking me must have noticed that I have given many stocks just looking at Mcap/ Sales ratio and have been succesful as well.Ofcourse others things needs to be looked upon but Mcap and sales are very important parametres not to be ignored.
So as written by one of the reader, SEBI can't do anything here.It is company's management decision what to do with their shares.Whether they wants to keep it as 10 FV or wants to split it to 5 FV or 2 FV or 1 FV.

Accel Frontline seeks acquisitions...........cmp Rs.37.70

DEALS INDIA - SMALL TARGETS Accel Frontline seeks acquisitions

B Y V IDYA P ADMANABHAN vidya.p@livemint.com
······················· CHENNAI

Powered by Mint, Dow Jones Newswires and The Wall Street Journal Information technology services company Accel Frontline Ltd plans to spend as much as $25 million to buy several small companies as it seeks to boost revenue sixfold by 2017.
It aims to raise $10-15 mil- lion by selling shares to pri- vate equity (PE) funds to par- tially fund the acquisitions, chief executive N.R. Panicker said in an interview. The company aims to increase revenue to `2,500 crore in the next five-six years from `396 crore in the year ended 31 March, he said.

“The next five years will be the growth phase,“ said Pan- icker, who founded the flag- ship company in 1991. “We will be looking at inorganic growth. We want to get geo- graphical reach.“

The company is in prelimi- nary talks with PE investors, though the need for funding and its size will depend on the companies identified for pur- chase, Panicker said, adding that he hopes to invest $20-25 million in acquisitions over the next 18 months. The com- pany could fund acquisitions of up to $10 million through internal accruals, he said.

Accel Frontline plans to ex- pand its core business of do- mestic technology infrastruc- ture management; add busi- ness through an embedded software company, Ushus Technologies, which it ac- quired last month from a group firm; and expand over- seas through acquisitions of companies in the US or West Asia with sales of $10-50 mil- lion, or Indian companies with a sizeable export busi- ness, Panicker said.

The long-term plan is to use the combined strength of these small acquisitions to undertake a leveraged buy- out of a larger company down the line, he said.

“The IT (information tech- nology) services industry re- defines itself every two-three years,“ said Ankit Pande, a technology analyst with SBI Capital Securities. “Any wave of industrial revolution takes 70-80 years, and tech is really only about 20 years old. IT will continue to see sustained growth.“

The company's core area of operation, the IT infrastruc- ture management industry, has grown 40% year-on-year for the last three years, said Milan Sheth, partner, IT advi- sory, Ernst and Young.

Group company Accel Me- dia Ventures Ltd is also look- ing for PE funding of about $15-20 million to strengthen its media production, distri- bution, licensing, merchan- dising and education opera- tions. It has bid to set up an international animation and gaming school planned as a public-private partnership venture in Thiruvanan- thapuram.

Accel Frontline bought out the 51% stake of its joint ven- ture partner, BT Frontline--a unit of British Telecommuni- cations (BT)--in August be- cause BT had seemed to shift its focus away from IT, Pan- icker said. This fiscal, with Ushus Technologies contri- buting about half the year's revenue, the company ex- pects to report revenue of `570 crore through organic growth of about 44%.

My Comments:
I have taken this post from Livemint epaper edition.
Well, the current sale is for Mar 2011 is Rs 330 cr and Mcap is 84 cr which gives us an edge on valuation. The eps is 2.81 for last year which discount the stock at around 12 P/E.
Here in the above post the  chief executive N.R. Panicker  is talking about increasing the sales 6 fold in 5-6 yrs through acquisition. The  embedded software company, Ushus Technologies, which it ac- quired last month from a group firm , Mr. Panicker is hoping of adding half year revenue that is around 170 cr and thus the sales will go up by 44%.
Well, these are all projections and how much it will come good needs to be seen.
Apart from the Mcap/ sales ratio which looks to be in favour of investor, I also like the promoters holding of 71.60% which gives us more comfort as usually I have seen that IT companies has very low promoters holding.
Another thing I like about this Co is the AR has already been posted for year 2011 at bse website .This shows the transperancy of the management. While putting AR of 2011 well in time, shows that management is open in telling the future plans to the investors.
Market can still go lower as I wrote recently and hence Accel Frontline can also go lower and if that happens and stock comes around 25 then it will be an excellent oppertunity to buy it.
I don't want to go in for discussion for what service they are rendering as that can be read while going to the website.......
